Read good reviews but didn’t really know what to expect. Service was excellent from the first interaction. Serena was one of the most friendly servers we ever had. We even had a wonderful conversation with the owner Liz. Food was very good-casual fare but very tasty. Ice cream was delicious. I would definitely recommend. ”

“ Berkeley’s is by far one of my husband and I’s favorite restaurants in Charleston. We’ve been here over a handful of times and always have a great experience. I love the outdoor seating area. Even in the colder temperatures they have heat lamps so you can stay warm. I always get the eggplant parm and it by far exceeds every other eggplant parm I’ve gotten from any Italian restaurant in Charleston (I’m from NYC so my expectations are high). The servers are always sweet and very attentive. I had a small issue once and spoke to the owner who was more than apologetic and was eager to rectify the situation and do the right thing. Love it here. ”

Good bun choice, steak is delicious and plenty of cheese. I also tried a meatball sub which was also delicious! Will be a regular lunch spot for me moving forward. ”
